Description
This module houses relevant resources and information relating to the use of bleach as chemical disinfectant for liquid biological wastes at TRI. Please review all information carefully.

Note: Bleach (sodium hypochlorite) is a powerful oxidiser and is highly reactive. High-hazard by-products and toxic gases may be evolved when bleach is mixed with incompatible chemicals. ALWAYS review the Safety Data Sheet and manufacturer’s guidelines of the chemical, kit or materials you are disinfecting BEFORE adding bleach.
