**Note, this course is NOT basic Fume Cupboard training.**

This course outlines procedures and training for using the SPECIALISED fume cupboard (equipped with scrubber function and wash down capability), which is required for work with the high-risk chemicals perchloric acid or hydrofluoric acid.

The training consists of reading the below procedure and attending a face-to-face practical session with a Scientific Services Officer or nominated equipment custodian. Prior to requesting this equipment training, personnel should provide a comprehensive risk assessment and work protocol to safety@tri.edu.au
